We are happy to welcome Víctor Ramos Duarte. He brings expertise in plant biotechnology and will serve as lab manager in our group.

We welcome Arivoli Aravindhan Gurulingam as a intern in the lab. He is a Chemical Biotechnology student at TUM and will work on plant protein expression in yeast.

We welcome Xizi Wang and Anastasia Högerl as PhD students in the lab. Xizi will work on engineering alternative carbon fixation and Anastasia will focus on prolonging enzyme life.

Sudarshan Gnanamani is joining the lab as Master intern. He is enrolled in the TUM Master program Chemical Biotechnology and will work on engineering methionine sulfoxide reductase in yeast.

 

Qasim Ali and Sudarshan Gnanamani started their Master theses in our lab working on yeast strain engineering and (continuous) directed evolution. We wish both good luck with their projects.

 

We welcome Nantu Das as a Master student to the lab. Nantu is a biology student and will focus on engineering the longevity of methionine synthase.

 

Welcome, Sunayana Chandra. Sunayana already did a 6-weeks internship in our lab and will now continue with her Master thesis. She will work with Xizi on the project of FDH and alternative carbon fixation.
