Aisha is a plant biotechnologist specializing in plant-microbe interactions, enzyme engineering and molecular bioinformatics. Her research vision focuses on enhancing crop yield and resilience through transcriptomic profiling and bioinformatics-driven analyses. Building on prior work in plant-microbe interactions and metabolic pathways, she aims to uncover regulatory networks that can be engineered to improve plant performance under environmental stress, contributing to sustainable agriculture. Outside research, she enjoys travelling, playing chess and having a deep conversation with her daughter.
